This Charter applies both to the Terms of Use (ToU) of the Site.
Within this Charter, unless the context requires a different definition, the following words and expressions, whether in the singular or plural, shall have the meaning set out below:

“ToU” refers to the terms of use of the Site, accessible at https://aidimpact.com/
“Charter” refers to this charter on personal data protection and commitments to confidentiality and security;
“CNIL” refers to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (French Data Protection Authority);
“Personal Data” means the personal information of the User;
“aidimpact” refers to the group of companies within the meaning of Article 4.19 of the GDPR that controls aidimpact and the companies it controls;
“GDPR” refers to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016;
“Site” means the site accessible at https://aidimpact.com/.
“Processing” collectively refers to the management, collection, protection, and storage of the User’s Personal Data.
“User” means the user of the Site, whether a client or simply a visitor to the Site.
Aidimpact has implemented this Charter so that the User can provide their Personal Data in accordance with a strict confidentiality and security policy by which Aidimpact undertakes to protect their privacy and to manage their Personal Data fairly and transparently.
1. Data Controller
To ensure the proper application of its commitments as the controller of Personal Data collected on the Site in accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act as amended, Aidimpact has appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for providing information and advice on Personal Data protection. 2. Categories of Personal Data Collected
Aidimpact informs the User that it may collect or obtain the Personal Data provided by the User when placing an order on the Site (for example, via a form on the Site) or if their Personal Data is publicly accessible.
aidimpact may also collect or obtain the User’s Personal Data by noting or inferring such data from their direct interactions with Aidimpact or indirectly through others (for example, partners, joint controllers, or processors who may participate in Personal Data collection operations on behalf of Aidimpact). The Personal Data collected or obtained by Aidimpact on the site may include: title, last name, first name, email address, phone number, postal address, payment method, number of people in the household.
3. Nature and Purpose of Processing
Aidimpact will use the Personal Data for processing the User’s order, managing its “clients” database, and sending commercial and/or promotional offers to the User. The data required by aidimpact are marked with an asterisk in the order form. If these mandatory fields are not filled in, the User’s order cannot be validated. Other information, which is optional, is intended to help better understand the User and improve the services offered. The absence of optional information will not prevent the User’s order from being validated. If the User no longer wishes to receive commercial and/or promotional offers from aidimpact, they can unsubscribe by sending an email to [email protected]
4. Protection of Children’s Privacy
aidimpact understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in a digital environment. As such, the Site is not designed for or intended to be used by children under the age of 16. Aidimpact’s policy is to never knowingly collect or retain information about anyone under the age of 16.
5. Recipients of Personal Data
Depending on one or more Processing purposes, aidimpact may communicate all or part of the Personal Data to the WEBCOM AGENCY Group. Aidimpact may also be required to communicate Personal Data if such disclosure is required by law, an administrative authority, or for the needs of legal proceedings.
6. Transfer of Personal Data
The User is informed that their Personal Data may be transferred to a country other than their country of residence, within the European Union. The User expressly agrees that their Personal Data may be stored, processed, and transferred by aidimpact to WEBCOM AGENCY. WEBCOM AGENCY may transfer Personal Data to a non-EU country only if (i) there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission or (ii) appropriate safeguards are in place. When the User has ticked the box stating: “By clicking the ‘send’ button below, I authorize the site ‘aidimpact’ to contact me personally about its services to improve my experience. Your personal data will never be disclosed to third parties.” This Personal Data may be transmitted to WEBCOM AGENCY. The User may then receive information and offers from aidimpact via Email and/or SMS.
If the User no longer wishes to receive information and offers from aidimpact via Email and/or SMS, they can unsubscribe by sending a request to [email protected]
7. Security of Personal Data
aidimpact takes all necessary precautions, including organizational, technical, software, and physical measures regarding digital security, to protect the User’s Personal Data against loss, theft, fraudulent removal, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of Personal Data.
However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and the Site cannot guarantee the security of information transmission and storage on the Internet.
aidimpact implements all useful measures in view of the nature of the data collected and the risks presented by Processing, to preserve the security of Personal Data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
8. User Rights
In accordance with national and European law, the User is entitled to exercise the following rights with aidimpact, which processes their Personal Data:
to be informed of the existence and purposes of any Processing of their Personal Data
to access their Personal Data and request its rectification or erasure or restriction of Processing.
To object to the Processing of their Personal Data and to request portability.
to withdraw, at any time, their consent given to aidimpact.
To promptly inform the Data Protection Officer of any loss or fraudulent removal (unlawful processing) of their Personal Data.
To exercise these personal rights, the User may send a request by email to [email protected], in accordance with this Personal Data Protection Charter.

If dissatisfied with the way aidimpact has handled their Personal Data or for any question or request addressed to [email protected] that has not been resolved, the User is entitled to file a complaint with the CNIL.
The User can also contact [email protected] to be redirected to the CNIL or for any question or concern regarding privacy matters or the management of their personal data.
9. Retention Period of Personal Data
The User’s Personal Data will be retained by aidimpact for the longer of the following periods: (i) the period necessary for carrying out the following operations: (a) sending information and offers from aidimpact via Email and/or SMS, (b) recording orders, (c) delivering orders, and (d) withdrawing orders; (ii) any retention period required by law; or (iii) at the end of the applicable limitation period following any dispute or investigation that may arise in connection with the relevant operations, unless a prior request for deletion is sent to [email protected]. At the end of the relevant period, the Personal Data provided by the User will be destroyed in accordance with applicable regulations.
10. Changes to the Charter
aidimpact reserves the right to make any changes or updates to this Charter at any time (notably due to changes in legislation and/or regulations).
If a change or update is made to the Charter, AIMDAF undertakes to publish the new version on its Site. aidimpact will inform Users of the amendment to this Charter by changing the revision date at the top left of this page.
